Community Charrette

The community charrette on October 24, 2015 had an excellent turnout with a total 105 participants from across McKinney, including 18 students from the MISD Youth and Government program. The charrette was an interactive workshop held at the Collin College Higher Education Center. Participants at the workshop provided invaluable input during interactive group activities, exercises to map out future development patterns (also known as CommunityViz Mapping), and discussions of desired concepts for residential and commercial development in the City of McKinney. The participants provided integral feedback that will become part of the ONE McKinney 2040 Comprehensive Plan.
